Liability Waiver
By booking or participating in a tour with Hawaii Island Insider Tours LLC, you voluntarily acknowledge and accept that travel, transportation, sightseeing, hiking, and outdoor activities involve inherent risks that cannot be completely eliminated.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, you agree to release, waive, and hold harmless Hawaii Island Insider Tours LLC, its owners, employees, guides, contractors, and affiliates from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, or expenses arising from personal injury, illness, death, property damage, or loss of personal belongings resulting from your participation in the tour, except where caused by the gross negligence or willful misconduct of Hawaii Island Insider Tours LLC.
Guests are responsible for determining that they are physically able to participate in the tour and for following all safety instructions provided by guides and staff. Failure to follow safety instructions may result in removal from the tour without refund.
By completing your reservation and participating in the tour, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and voluntarily agree to this Liability Waiver.
Before Your Adventure – Please Read
We want every guest to feel prepared, comfortable, and confident before their experience with Hawaii Island Insider Tours LLC. Please review the information below before booking your tour or transportation service.
Morning Pickups
Pickups typically occur between 7:00 AM and 9:00 AM, with most starting earlier in the window. Please be ready at least 10 minutes before your scheduled pickup time. Your driver will call or text with an estimated arrival time once the route is confirmed.
What to Bring
• Comfortable walking shoes or sandals as some terrain may be uneven
• Sunscreen to protect your skin while we explore
• Towel for waterfall or beach stops
• Light jacket or hoodie as mornings can be cool in the uplands
• Reusable water bottle to help reduce plastic waste
• Cash or card for lunch snacks or local shop stops
ADA & Accessibility Notice
We strive to accommodate all guests and provide a great experience for everyone. Please note that our vehicle is not equipped with a wheelchair lift or ramp.
Guests must be able to step into the vehicle with minimal assistance. There is a small step up to enter the van.
Due to seating capacity, storage space is limited and we are unable to accommodate wheelchairs or large mobility devices at this time.

Terms & Conditions
Cancellation Policy All private tour reservations are final. Once a booking has been confirmed, all payments are non-refundable. Private tours are reserved exclusively for your group. By booking, you are reserving the vehicle, guide, and tour date, which prevents us from accepting other reservations for that time. Refunds will only be issued under the following circumstances: • Your cruise ship does not dock or your scheduled port call is canceled. • Hawaii Island Insider Tours LLC cancels the tour due to unsafe weather, road closures, natural disasters, government restrictions, or other conditions that make operating the tour unsafe. Guest cancellations for any reason, including changes of plans, illness, missed flights, missed cruise embarkation, late arrivals, scheduling conflicts, or no-shows, are not eligible for a refund. If a tour must be modified due to weather, traffic, road closures, park closures, or other operational or safety reasons, comparable alternate locations may be substituted without refund. Hawaii Island Insider Tours LLC is not responsible for delays caused by traffic, weather, mechanical issues, or other circumstances beyond our control. No refunds will be issued for delays, itinerary changes, or missed stops resulting from these circumstances. Access to certain attractions may be limited or unavailable due to capacity restrictions, closures, or safety conditions. We do not guarantee access to every advertised stop and cannot issue refunds if a location is closed or inaccessible.

Do tours still operate if it rains?
Yes. Big Island tours operate rain or shine. The island has many different climate zones, and weather can vary greatly depending on location. Rain often creates beautiful waterfalls and dramatic scenery, making the experience even more special.
Can I book just one seat on a tour?
Yes. Our tours are designed for small groups, and guests can reserve individual seats. Each tour vehicle holds a maximum of 14 guests, creating a comfortable and more personal experience while exploring the island.
How far in advance should I book a tour?
We recommend booking as early as possible, especially during busy travel seasons. Our small group tours are limited to 14 guests per vehicle, and many tours fill up quickly once visitors arrive on the island.
